幫助我準備托福 Preparing for the TOEFL Exam

動機:申請交換學生 以及在思考要不要去攻讀二碩

2023/8開始報名補習班，9月中開始認真準備後發現補習班在口說跟寫作方面能給的幫助有限

所以上來家教平台找幫助，我大概試聽了3個老師，最後找到Hannah老師，因為我覺得寫作跟口說方面都能給我很大的幫助，我可以一直錄音跟寫作文給老師批改，老師也會很認真地給我回饋跟建議。

一開始都在準備閱讀跟聽力，很不想準備寫作跟口說，因為很麻煩，所以為了逼自己開始就規定自己一周要上兩堂課，然後逼自己錄音跟寫作文給老師改，最後成效也很好，雖然口說跟寫作分數不高，但過20分就有達到我的目標了，之後如果還有機會還會找老師上課，Hannah真的是很棒的老師!

如果要說額外的優點大概是老師不會一直叫你留評論跟突然抬價，這個算是比較外部的優點。

Motivation: Applying for an exchange student program and considering pursuing a second master's degree.

I started signing up for tutoring classes in August 2023 and began seriously preparing in mid-September, only to realize that the classes offered limited help in speaking and writing.

Therefore, I turned to a tutoring platform for assistance. After trying out three teachers, I finally chose Hannah because I felt she could significantly help me with writing and speaking. I could continuously record my speech and write essays for her to correct, and she would provide me with serious feedback and suggestions.

Initially, I focused on preparing for the reading and listening sections and was reluctant to work on writing and speaking because they seemed troublesome. To force myself to start, I set a rule to take two lessons a week and pushed myself to record my speech and write essays for correction. The outcome was very positive. Although my speaking and writing scores were not high, scoring over 20 met my goal. I would take lessons with her again if I had the chance; Hannah is an excellent teacher!

An additional advantage worth mentioning is that she doesn't constantly ask for reviews or suddenly raise her prices, which is a rather external benefit.
