I was able to review my Tagalog in this lesson because my teacher gave me lots of chances to use Tagalog words in the conversation. It was good for me to describe what I do in my work now. I needed to use expressions I have learned before. It helped me remind some Tagalog words.

Geraldine is an awesome teacher and very helpful. She is able to adjust the lessons to suit my learning pace and can address any areas where I might be struggling. She will adjust the lesson pace to suit you and all the classes feel relaxed, yet are also challenging. I cannot recommend Geraldine highly enough!

I love working with Geraldine! She is so encouraging and caters the lessons to my understanding levels. I end the work day and feel extremely tired but Geraldine’s lessons give me a lot of energy and I’m excited to learn with her. This was my first full lesson with her and I’m looking forward to my next one!

The lesson about yes/no question - touch on point, very quick and clear explanation, also provide real-life examples that are easy to understand. Again, I'm encouraged to speak more and I can feel tagalog improving!

Today I had my trial class with Geraldine, and I loved her way of teaching, explaining the reason behind each grammar point, not trying to just feed me with sentences to learn and remember like other tagalog teachers usually try to do. Geraldine really prepared much before class, and explained in detail for your questions, she is good at teaching grammars, can answer grammatical questions which sounds weird to a native speaker.

The teacher was early for class, she has a 10/10 in my books. Great personality and charisma as well as enthusiasm to teach. She was very kind and patient as well as relaxed and worked with me very well. I highly recommend this teacher for any future people interested in learning Languages from her. The trial class was great! I spoke to Lyndon about my background in Tagalog and also reviewed a few new words and phrases together. He was friendly and enthusiastic, a nice teacher! Looking forward to further sessions so I can become more comfortable speaking Tagalog and eventually communicate with my friends and family back home.

I learned about how to use UM verbs. We place at the front of a root work if the word starts with vowel. We place inside the word if it starts with a consonant. Please provide homework as we discussed.

Today I learn new specific positions if the word, like : Ibadan/ibabaw/nasa/labas. And also kumusta for the original word of Kamusta. Besides, I also have the ability to make simple sentences using the Ang…ay… I have so much fun in the class !

Her lesson was so nice. She made a rigorous course plan, and I was able to enjoy the lesson. I had a lot of opportunity to output in Tagalog. When I asked her some questions about grammar, she explained kindly and clearly.

I have been taking beginner adult Tagalog lessons with Geraldine and I can't believe how far I've come after only a few classes. She is extremely fun to learn from and very knowledgeable. She quickly identifies the root of my issues to help me work through them, provides examples to reinforce my learning and explains/compares English and Tagalog grammatical rules in a very clear manner. Most of all, she helps build my confidence with the language. I definitely recommend!

I’m beyond satisfied with Teacher Venus’ teaching, it’s my first time signing up for online lessons and I was super nervous but she was so friendly and calm that I eventually started enjoying the class so much.
